The Counseling Center provides one-session referral counseling for faculty and staff who may need on-going counseling for personal concerns. We maintain a large referral database of mental health providers in the Austin-San Antonio corridor and surrounding areas. Call 245-2208 to arrange a referral appointment. Referrals may also be provided by phone. Because of concerns about confidentiality, we prefer not to make referrals by e-mail.

Counseling Center staff are also available to consult with faculty and staff regarding mental health concerns they may have about individual students (see “How and When to Refer a Student to the Counseling Center” in this section of the Counseling Center website). Limited consultation is available for individual faculty, staff and department heads who are concerned about potential mental health issues of colleagues and employees.
