*There is an on-call counselor during business day hours who can respond to students in crisis, as well as consult with concerned friends, family, staff, and faculty. Examples include concerns about risk of hurting self or others, a recent traumatic event (including physical or sexual assault), or a level of distress that is impairing daily functioning.
*Counselors are also available upon request to speak with students, faculty and/or staff following a traumatic event such as the death of a student, team mate, class mate, or other member of the Texas State University community.
